  • 2 g matcha
  • 60 ml water at 75 C
  • 180 ml oat milk
  • 1 tsp maple
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon

Steps

  1. Sift 2g of matcha into a bowl.
  2. Add 60ml of water at 75 degrees Celsius and whisk for 20 seconds.
  3. Warm 180ml of oat milk with a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon to about 60 degrees Celsius.
  4. Stir half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 teaspoon of maple syrup into the milk.
  5. Pour the matcha into a mug and top with the spiced milk.
  6. Dust with a little extra cinnamon to finish.

Whisk about 20 seconds.

Ceylon cinnamon is gentler than cassia and works well in milk based drinks.
