  • 2 g matcha
  • 250 ml water at 5 C
  • ice

Steps

  1. Sift 2g of matcha into a sealable bottle or jar.
  2. Add 250ml of cold filtered water.
  3. Seal and shake hard for 20 seconds until fully dissolved.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Shake again before serving over ice.

Whisk about 20 seconds.

Cold extraction pulls less of the bitter compounds. Use ceremonial grade for the best result.
