Ingredients

  • 2 g matcha
  • 60 ml water at 75 C
  • 150 ml oat milk
  • 1 tsp maple
  • 3g hojicha powder

Steps

  1. Sift 2g of matcha and 3g of hojicha powder together into a bowl.
  2. Add 60ml of water at 75 degrees Celsius and whisk for 20 seconds.
  3. Warm 150ml of oat milk to about 60 degrees Celsius and stir in 1 teaspoon of maple syrup.
  4. Pour the matcha hojicha mix into a mug.
  5. Top with the warm oat milk.

Whisk about 20 seconds.

Hojicha is naturally lower in caffeine, so the cup feels gentler in the afternoon.
