  • 2 g matcha
  • 60 ml water at 75 C
  • 60 ml whole milk

Steps

  1. Sift 2g of matcha into a bowl.
  2. Add 60ml of water at 75 degrees Celsius and whisk for 20 seconds.
  3. Steam 60ml of whole milk to a thin microfoam at about 60 degrees Celsius.
  4. Pour the matcha into a 130ml cortado glass.
  5. Top with the steamed milk in a slow steady stream.

Whisk about 20 seconds.

A cortado glass shows the matcha through the milk for an attractive layered look.
