  • 3 g matcha
  • 50 ml water at 75 C
  • 120 ml whole milk

Steps

  1. Sift 3g of matcha into a bowl.
  2. Add 50ml of water at 75 degrees Celsius and whisk for 20 seconds.
  3. Steam 120ml of whole milk to a glossy microfoam at about 60 degrees Celsius.
  4. Pour the matcha into a 180ml flat white cup.
  5. Pour the milk slowly to keep the foam thin and even.

Whisk about 20 seconds.

The extra gram of matcha pushes the flavor through the milk. Use a quality grade.
