Ingredients

  • 2 g matcha
  • 30 ml water at 75 C
  • 1 tsp honey
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 200ml cold water
  • ice

Steps

  1. Sift 2g of matcha into a bowl.
  2. Add 30ml of water at 75 degrees Celsius and whisk for 15 seconds.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  4. Stir 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and a pinch of sea salt into 200ml of cold water.
  5. Pour the salted lemon water over the ice.
  6. Top with the matcha and stir before drinking.

Whisk about 15 seconds.

Drink about 30 minutes before training so the caffeine has time to take effect.
