Matcha Almanac is a local-first companion for making matcha. It provides a recipe library, brewing guide, glossary, a brew journal, a tin cellar, and calculators, and runs in your browser with no account. The recipes, guide, glossary, reference tins, and calculators are free; an optional Premium subscription unlocks the unlimited brew journal, the tin cellar inventory, and data export.
Premium is available as a weekly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by RevenueCat and Stripe, and subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled from the link in your receipt email. Access is tied to this browser; keep your receipt email for recovery.
Recipes, brewing parameters, caffeine estimates, and reference content are provided as general guidance. Verify anything important for your own taste, dietary needs, or health before relying on it.
The app is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. Calculations and estimates may not be exact. You are responsible for how you prepare and consume matcha.
All data you create is stored in your own browser. You are responsible for exporting backups if you want to keep your journal and tins. The app cannot recover data that your browser has cleared.
