Method

  1. Sift 2g of matcha into a bowl.

  2. Add 30ml of water at 75 degrees Celsius and whisk for 15 seconds.

  3. Fill a tall glass with ice.

  4. Stir 1 tablespoon of rose syrup into 180ml of cold oat milk.

  5. Pour the milk over the ice and top with the matcha.

  6. Garnish with a few dried rose petals.

Use a clear rose syrup so the green of the matcha still shows through.Almanac note

Keep the ratio that worked

The journal keeps this bowl (grams, water, temperature, and how it actually tasted) on this device, so the next one starts from what worked. It builds a 13-week heatmap as you go, and it is free and unlimited. Premium adds the tin cellar, so each bowl is costed against the tin you actually poured it from.
